OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS: thank you

I'm pretty sure that I am not the only one here who has put off writing their holiday thank you notes. Don't get me wrong, I really don't mind sending thank you notes. I actually enjoy it, and figure it is the least I can do when friends and family have been so generous towards me and my children. But I spent the past two weeks obsessively reading the Twilight saga, largely ignoring all my other responsibilities and obligations. I've finally gotten my nose out of my books and am ready to get writing!
We have some new designs in the Tulaloo Shop for your Thank You Note writing pleasure! Any one of them can be inscribed with your name or any sentiment or quote you wish. Be sure to check out our new kids designs: Snips & Snails and Sugar & Spice. Get a set for your little one and let him scribble a note to Grandma. For more sophisticated correspondence, we offer our new Peek a Boo Plum and Splattered cards. Some of the '08 line is still available as well.
And as a special thank you to all of Tulaloo's terrific and loyal readers, we are doing a giveaway for a set of our new notecards! Just leave a comment on this post about the most fantastic gift you received this holiday. One winner will be randomly chosen to receive one set of our new personalized notecards (Winner gets to choose the design!). All comments must be posted by midnight ET January 7th.

The most wonderful gift I received this year was all the wonderful and generous donations from the ETSY Community for my Kochanie "My Love" Baskets. Nothing takes your breathe away from the generous people out there.

My DH is installing a remote start in my car even though I have a garage to park my car at home. He said it's for when I'm at work I'll be able to start my car when the weather is bad so I will always have a warm car to get in on the way home.

Oh how nice! Lots of tahnks to be said this holiday =) My most wonderful gift this year was from my future sister-in-law and cousin-in-law. They got me fabulous red winter coat I just love! I would have never thought of the color red in my wardrobe, but it looks so fabulous! Something to keep me warm for holidays to come.

I received two really good gifts from my DH this year. He is trying to make up for some screw ups he did this past year, so I am enjoying being spoiled. For Christmas, he gave me a gift certificate for an ultimate day at the spa (which includes: a body wrap, facial, full body massage, lunch, manicure, pedicure, hair style and make-up). And for my birthday which is soon after Christmas he did a cute little getaway to an inn on the bluffs overlooking the river.

I love my new iPod - I feel like a "big girl" now! But the best gift was being home in our own house for the first time this Christmas. We didn't have to travel anywhere and got to be our cozy little family of four for the first time on Christmas. We had a yummy dinner Christmas Eve, went to church, and read the Night Before Christmas. In the morning we got to watch the kids explore their new presents, eat breakfast and take our time. It was the best gift ever...then the relatives started to arrive...

I love, Love, LOVE the notecards! What a wonderful happy New Year! The most wonderful gift I got was the time M took to write Winne-the_pooh quotes all over my Christmas wrappings. That was a heart gift, and they are always the best kind. :-)

A dear new friend of mine hand embroidered and appliqued a beautiful pillow for me. It was a true labor of love, and such a beautiful piece of art. I love receiving handmade gifts, but nobody in my family is crafty, so this gift was truly special.

I love the designs! So cute! :)

I got several amazing gifts this year! DH did a wonderful job! I guess, if I had to just pick ONE to share, it would be my ice blue topaz matching earrings, necklace and ring. Absolutely beautiful. :)
